This week, I made Cinnamon Butter Tortillas. I made them by melting Cinnamon Butter in the microwave and then spreading it onto my Tortillas. I then cut each Tortilla into 4 pieces like a Pizza and put it in the air fryer to cook. This was probably the most underwhelming thing that I have made so far but I will learn from my mistakes with this one and I will improve with my next few recipes.

I took a break from making food this week so that I can cleanse my pallet and research some new ideas for recipes that I can make.
This week, I made tacos. Tacos are arguably the most popular food from Mexican culture that has made it to the US. My tacos were pretty basic though. I used flour tortillas, ground beef, taco seasoning mix, and lettuce, cheese and tomato. First, I browned the beef in a skillet on medium heat. I then added and mixed the seasoning mix. After that, I diced my tomatoes, grated the cheese, and shredded the lettuce. I then added all of that together and had tacos.
I made my first dish this week. It is a salsa called Pico de Gallo. It consists of tomatoes, onion, peppers, cilantro, and lemon juice. It is commonly used as a salsa but it can also be enjoyed on its own. I have more information about it and the steps that I followed to make it on the recipes tab of my website.
Second week now. I still haven't cooked anything but I am researching some sauces that I could try to make or other simple things that I could make.
